Matt Brown is the pride of the PNW for his singer/songwriter talent. His blue-eyed soul sound is unique: it sounds new and old school at the same time. With a voice seasoned by influences such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers and guitar styling steeped in the tradition of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brown’s artistry is filled with as much blue-eyed soul as his baby blue Fender Telecaster, “Stella Blue.” His classic covers CD Nostalgic Fool includes songs like Georgia On My Mind and At Last are flawlessly familiar and yet uniquely his. Brown has opened for acts like Chris Isaak, Huey Lewis, Train, Michael Franti, and many others. Bring a chair, picnic dinner and settle into your seat for a great evening of entertainment.
