Back in February, before social distancing was a thing, Matt Brown sold out and rocked out our packed living room. Our audience fell in love with his music, stage presence, and easy warmth. He's coming back and bringing his band for a summertime outdoors concert. It will be a blast. There is nothing like live music with a real performer. If you have been craving the joy of live music, this is the show for you!
Matt Brown is an old soul, with a voice seasoned by influences such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers and guitar styling steeped in the tradition of Eric Clapton and John Mayer. Brown’s songs are fresh but familiar and tend to move the heart as much as the head and feet. His newest songs are wonderful and Still Life feels like it was written just for 2020.
Originally from a small dairy town in Washington state, Brown spent many years in Nashville, his second home, and has been writing and recording there since 2013. He is now relocated back to the PNW. Brown has opened for acts like Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Isaak, Huey Lewis, Train, Michael Franti, and many others. Brown recently worked with two-time Grammy award-winning, Scott Underwood, on his album, 'Get It Right', which was released in 2018. Underwood, a former drummer for the band Train, produced and played drums on the album.
